Rutendo Nyamuda, business owner, public speaker, podcast producer, media trainer, and founder of Tinzwe Media, is a force to be reckoned with in the African media and podcasting space. She has worked across various areas of the entertainment industry including: journalism, TV production, corporate video production and PR. Her career started as a journalist, writing for prominent publications including: ELLE SA, Forbes Africa, CNBC Africa Online and the Huffington Post. She then worked in TV for The Expresso Morning Show and The Afternoon Express Show (SABC3). In addition, she has extensive experience in PR – having worked on projects including: the Jazz Festival Gala Dinner, the Durban July Gala Dinner as well as the Nelson Mandela Centenary T-Shirt Campaign with the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
Rutendo served as the President of the Ernst and Young Toastmasters Club for the 2019/2020 season. She was also recognised as one of the top 10 Toastmasters speakers in the SADC region for 2019/2020. In 2019, Rutendo launched her company Tinzwe Media – a podcast production that produces BizCommunity’s “BizTakeouts” podcast, the “In My 20s” Podcast,” as well as “The Podcast Sessions”.
Rutendo Nyamuda joins the World Arts Agency for a collaboration with Tinzwe Media whereby contributing podcasters will have an opportunity to publish their stories.
